EA has displayed some of the most unethical business practices in the industry, ripped the heart and soul out of some of the good developers it has acquired, and generally has a very high crap-to-quality ratio (that's bad).
Deciding not to purchase EA games may seem stupid to you, but there are many who do not wish to support their business model and practices.
