Which current-gen console has the best games?

Strictly speaking this isn't a discussion about what's the best investment of money, but since you brought that up it's a pretty interesting point.

Does piracy affect your view of the Virtual Console? Would it matter that a large number of XBLA and (maybe?) PSN titles can also be pirated?

See, it's kinda a weird internal battle. I don't pirate things very much at all. Everything in my games collection (all ~475 games) are official/bought/whatever so it's not that I like downloading everything. With VC, it's a decision of $8 on a SNES that I know I could obtain for free if I wanted or put that $8 towards Flower or to 4 more Rock Band 2 songs.

I think it would matter to an extent as well if PSN and XBLA titles were pirateable, etc. I haven't bought a single XBLA game that was released a while ago. The only port I've bought was Triggerheart Excelica which was a Dreamcast game released in 2007. The issue isn't entirely the same because with PS1 Classics you can play on both PS3 and PSP so you know that $6 gives you two copies of the game. That's a pretty good value.

Actually, I only own one WiiWare game because nothing else has really interested me. I have World of Goo on PC, and a lot of the disinterest stems from lack of knowledge of some of the better titles. I'm kinda skeptical on some of the recommendations because I've been burnt before on some VGC Wii recommendations.
