Long develpoment cycle for Twilight Princess does not equal a long development time for Zelda Wii.
Zelda Wii development began years ago, shortly after the release of Twilight Princess. There was no trailer or demo at E3 because Miyamoto didn't want time wasted building a demo and trailer when the team could use that time to continue proper development.
Basically, the lack of information on the title and the unsubstantiated rumours of a Wii HD does not mean anything right now. Nintendo will announce big games 6-12 months in advance of their release, not 2 or 3 years in advance. NSMB Wii was announced in June and is coming out next month. Galaxy 2 and Other M were announced in June and should be out in the first six months of next year.
Zelda Wii will be a Wii exclusive, basically.
