Responding seriously because I feel like it.
I'm glad this game is still creeping along. The launch numbers were atrocious, and even 100k seemed like it might be out of reach.
The game itself is a good upgrade. More features, new gameplay ideas, a good focus on multiplayer. The problem is that EA released it only a year after the first Boom Blox.
Dear Megapublishers,
please stop trying to turn every goddamn game into an annual release franchise. Consider skipping a year, maybe even skipping a generation before you pop out another entry. Give gamers a chance to get hungry again instead of trying to force-feed us updated gameplay while we're still trying to digest our first helping. Not only will we be more inclined to dine, but the time your creators have to concoct new ideas will make your next game even more enticing.
I have a huge appetite for games. Most of your customers do not.
Sincirely,
Somebody who buys a lot of games.
