Nintendo will announce that the new console is coming out in 2012.
However, it is really trying to figure out a way to survive the destruction foretold for that year in the Mayan prophesies.
So we will NOT see a new Nintendo console.
OK -- 2012. I think maybe Newton (2061) was closer to the real doomsday date.
