Huh? This game looks just as an RPG as...the first FFCC. No levels, but there's upgrades. Then there's world travel which is common with RPGs. The designs are things you'd expect from an RPG. And so on. I still consider it an RPG. And many RPG fans are going to buy it.

The FF/FFCC brand is strong, they don't need to prove anything.


Metroid has upgrades.  Zelda has upgrades.  Niether are RPGs.  This game looks like an action adventure.  That doesn't mean it's bad -- it's just not going to scratch an RPG itch.
