Capcom is the only Japanese publisher who has taken major strides to release their games in the West earlier now( must be because most of their games sell better in the west). But most companies in general, even console companies like nintendo, have not done much in shrinking localizations times.
When you have people like Square Enix's president warning the Japanese industry that the western industry is overtaking them, faster localizations should have been the first thing on their agenda.
