Wii, the only true console that sticks to a console's advantages and doesn't half-ass what shouldn't be on a console to begin with. Also Wii Sports is an aphrodisiac, I swear.

Platformers and games with platforming elements, fighting, plug-and-play (bug free, no patching/installs), easy fun for several people at once, and a few others.

What is NOT an advantage is online, shooters, strategy, and some types of RPGs that are not action-y.

I understand the Wii has the platformers, but have you seen the XBL games? anayway, what fighting games does the Wii have over the HD consoles.

The PS3 has that install thing, the 360 is pretty good with that, and Live brings more people together than the Wii.

yes, these kids play games all day and night. The Wii brings people together on occasions and stuff.

Live brings them onine, and Live is a VERY weak online compared to what's out there (coughPCcough), the Wii doesn't even bother. It brings people together far better than Live ever will, it brings them otgether in a room and lets them play together, basically it does what the consoles SHOULD do, it's their advantage.

I pick he Wii because online, shooters, strategy, non actiony-rpgs and eth etc. are far far superiorly done on a PC than on a console. Graphics, controls, mods, options, etc. The Wii doesn't even touch those things, it knows what a cocnsole is and what a console is meant for and aims right at the jugular.

As for fighting games, I believe SSB is a pretty good start on fighting games, that new capcom game, and some off VS and WW.
