This is against the spirit of the topic in many, many ways. "Which system has the best games" does not mean "which system doesn't have the worst games," nor does it mean "which system's library when taken as a mean average on Metacritic comes out with the highest rating". @Torillian: You mention story-heavy games as important to you. Which games on the Wii have you played that would fit that category? I assume your collection is by no means complete. |
Well as is probably obvious RPG's are a big part of that to me, so good story driven games would probably be something like Little King's Story. I tried Radiant Dawn and didn't like the story enough to put up with the difficulty at some point (forget when I gave it up), and ToS2 just wasn't all that good (probably on the level of Eternal Sonata). All the classic Nintendo stuff that I've bought hasn't been too story heavy: Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and played a portion of SMG with the exception being Zelda which I played a while but didn't finish. It could easily be because I don't search out story heavy games on the Wii because I don't look into the games on the Wii as much. Once you get a preference of console it becomes kind of a self fulfilling prophecy since you'll care more about games that come out for that console and therefore it'll seem like that console gets more good games.
