Wii has 512MB onboard memory and the limit of its SD card expansion slot is 2 gigs. I don't see how this can be for the Wii.

If I remember correctly, the Wii now supports SDHC. That means up to 32gb. More than the base HDD of a 360. You can also switch them in an easy, quick 5 sec. It could work. Even if it doesn't work that way, I could see them doing a streaming service similar to what Nintendo has did in the past.

True, it has the support with SDHC, now this can be possible.

Totally awesome, I was hunting for 2gb SD cards in my area, but could not find one, 2gb is getting old!

Heres some info on when SDHC support was released (March 2009): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii#Memory_storage

So can you guys confirm, if you have the latest firmware on your wii you can use SDHC cards?
