Ok, here comes the Philosoph! Beware the wall of text!:D
What if our reality was a Game? i said "was" because i don't think anyone is playing it any more. It might have started out as a virtual reality where people could meet with their avatars and have fun and do stuff. The programmers added mods like pets, and Players could even have virtual children! These children grew up and had their own kids, and so on, and the people playing the game got bored and confused because they couldn't tell who was real and who was AI, and they all canceled their subscriptions, and now the game runs all by itself on an old forgotten server somewhere and here we are!
