7.5/10
The storytelling was quite superb, with Nariko and Kai being great characters, and great voiceacting performances (credit to Andy Serkis, he did a great job directing and acting). That's about where the 'superb' ends though.
The game looks good, but has some wonky physics. The gameplay is at its best when you're controlling projectiles with the Sixaxis (fun sections for the most part), but the hack'n'slash only felt 'so so'.
On top of that, while all characters were well done, some characters were just too annoying and freakish. In fact, this applies to almost all the bosses.
