Here you are assuming that used game buyers are ever willing to buy some new games for the full price. Then why do we not assume that pirates too are willing to shell out money for some games?

Simple, People who buy used games are more willing to pay for games, Pirates (other than the one uploading the torrent) are not willing to pay for games they can get for free. A little double standard going on?

heh, not really. read my above statement

Did you know that music pirates actually buy MORE music than people who don't pirate?

The two markets are very differant, Music has a wider demographic range, and a larger quantity than the gaming market, Oh and then there is the price differance. You can buy a single track for a little over a buck on Itunes, and a whole CD for an average of $15.00, hardly a $60.00 investment.

Imma keep asking you this till I get an answer because this makes what, the fifth time I have asked you this question with no answer? That's a little suspicious. WHat game dev do you work for???

Why would you pay full price for a game when you can get it 50% off?

Because you have to wait to get it 50% off, usually, the game is a year old before they hit the 50% range

Also I agree that Music and Game market are very different with different demographics, and that would be a great point against what I said. Sadly, the pirate music demographic and the pirate game demographics are the same, with the same people pirating both. Apparently they buy more music than people who don't pirate. I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for games too.

Well actually, you are wrong again. not everybody who downloads music, downloads video games, but nearly everybody downloading games downloads music. See, it's not the same, even in the pirating world, the demographics are differant.

Also who said I work for a dev at all?

Who said you didn't? I have been asking you in basically every post...and have yet to get an answer. That to me is rather suspicious.

Actually you don't really have to wait. Just go find a friend and buy it off him. Generally half off if not free already. Used games are really heap if you find the righ people to get them from, just lik epiracy can be expensive if you do it wrong.

You must have some pretty awsome friends! Mine would only lend me the game. Likewise you must be a pretty shitty friend, I would never rip my friends off by buying a used game from them at a substantually lower price than the current used market value.

I'm fairly sure music and game pirates intersect in a pretty significant way. Same with movie pirates as well.

Yeah, not so much, you would like to think so, but sadly that is not the case.

EDIT: oops, forgot to ask you, what game dev do you work for? I still havn't gotten an answer.
