If Windows 7 turns out to be great, how will Apple advertise their macs?

Sounds exactly like my PC.

The screen is beautiful, almost silent. Windows xp hasn't crashed on me once, and I haven't gotten a single virus. The software is easy to use and is the OS of choice in the business world so I don't need to learn anything different when going into the industry. It's aesthetically pleasing and easy to use right out of the box.

 

It's funny, mac users are blinded by Apples advertising to think PCs get viruses like crazy and crash every day and are a pain to use, I've never had these problems in 15 years of using Windows (can't even remember the last time I had a crash). Customer service I give to apple, but I've never had to use customer service on windows.

I'll spend the extra $1200 I saved buying a Pc over a mac and go on a nice vacation for a week.

I've used Windows OS extensively and continue to do so.  As you say it is used more in business.  That being said, it just does not compare to Mac OS X.  My previous PC which had Windows XP did suffer from viruses and needed to be reinstalled multiple times.  The Windows 98 OS I had before that was a disaster.  The running joke was that the 98 referred to the number of days you could run the OS before you needed to do a fresh install.  There are reasons the Mac OS runs better.  The hardware is standard and it's a less popular OS so the nerds who write viruses prefer to target Microsoft OS's.

I'm not blinded by Apple's marketing.  I just know what it's like to live with a PC running Microsoft Windows.  If you've never had a virus in 15 years then I suspect you haven't been using the internet for much of that time.  

I've not seen a comparably priced PC that rivaled an Apple for aesthetics and if you have a quality 24" iPS screen as part of your PC build then I don't think you will have $1200 change.  

Were you looking at tons of porn and torrenting programs from dubious locations or something?

The only problems we've ever had, ever, would be my brother and my sister getting shit from Limewire or whatever.
