not only that but COD4 BEGAN the FPS culture on a Playstation platform

So... DOOM and Wolfenstein would be number 1 since they started FPS, period. Then HL for revolutionizing from the boring gun and shoot.

UT and Quake and CS would the be  3 and 4 and 5 since they REALLY made FPS multiplayer what it is currently.

System Shock 2 and Deus Ex would be 6 and 7 for revolutionizing what could be done from the first person.

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark would be 8 and 9 for bringing a gimped version of FPSing to the consoles.

Half-Life 2  would be 10 for REALLY perfecting the FPS experience and being the top SP FPS even years later.

Then what? we can start with minor achievements?

I guess you can throw in Halo at 11 and CoD4 at 12
