Except they can't, since there have been several bugs with the Snow Leopord upgrades, and moreover, there isn't a version for older PowerPC Macs.
Granted, 3/4 of Apple's ads are nothing more than nonsense to begin with, so I wouldn't put it past them to still say such things.
