Lets be generous and say 20% of FF13 buyers will purchase a PS3, that means FF13 will drive 300-360K PS3 sales basically FF13 would only put it above 4 million in Japan

 

And yet by the time GT5 comes out in March, the PS3 will have sold over 5 million units there.  There has to be a game that is primarily responsible for that.

so every PS3 games released between FFXIII and GT5 don't count?

With your logic, I don't see how NSMBWii wouldn't put Wii over 10 million units in Japan.
