Lets be generous and say 20% of FF13 buyers will purchase a PS3, that means FF13 will drive 300-360K PS3 sales basically FF13 would only put it above 4 million in Japan

And yet by the time GT5 comes out in March, the PS3 will have sold over 5 million units there. There has to be a game that is primarily responsible for that.

Not necessarily, in fact considering PS3 sales are dropping into the mid 20K's a week in Japan, that means after the holidays, it probably will sell less than 300K in the first few weeks of the new year, it could very likely be below 5 million when GT5 launches |
Actually, it's still in the high 20's, and it has beaten the Wii 2 out of 3 weeks since Wii Fit + came out including the latest one.
