1 million more PS3s sold than XBox 360 in only 8 weeks since the launch of the PS3 Slim. Around 125,000 more PS3 Slims sold than XBox 360 every week for the last 8 weeks. A further 10 weeks of sales to close out 2009 and the PS3 should outsell the XBox 360 by 2 to 3 million console units over the next 10 weeks. PS3 Slim will outsell XBox 360 between 3 to 4 million units for the last four months of 2009.
The gap between PS3 and XBox 360 will be between 3 and 4 million units by end of 2009. Continuous sales momentum in 2010 with PS3 game launches including: God of War 3, MAG, Gran Turismo 5 and FFXIII, etc will guarantee the PS3 smashes the XBox 360 in console sales.
PS3 Slim is going to guarantee PS3 outsells the XBox 360 this generation. Second place will be PS3 in 2010. I predict PS3 will overtake the XBox 360 by July 1, 2010.
