When you register your college e-mail and you click on the link they send you, there'll be some text hightlight yellow about if you need some kind of network feature for your university and when you click it, you'll be offered Windows 7 Professional for the same price. However, you can only get 32-bit or 64-bit so I had to just stuck with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I'm sure I'll make more use of the potential once I can do some of the upgrades I want. Even a small step up to a more powerful dual core CPU and 4 gigs of ram would be helpful :P |
Thanks, I see that I can get professional for 30, but it still says "preorder" which is weird since right next to it, it says "release date: 10/21/2009."
