I think L4D 2 will hurt sales of the first because it simply offers a better experience. I dont really know any gamer that would want to buy a game that so heavily relies on Multiplayer when the community will probably move on to the sequal. CoDMW and CoDWaW arent direct sequels but i dont see anything like CoDMW happening with L4D.
I still think L4D will end up selling more than KZ2 unless KZ2 sees constant 25k sales for a while, through the holidsays, while L4D drops significantly.
