tomshardware.com supports my argument. Here is one of their articles about the issue.

A little old, but people were having the same argument back then also. It just happens to be an article I remember.

Yes, take a look at this:

http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/tech-myths/5-myths-about-apple4.htm

Mac's cost over 50% more than similar PC's.

Ouch...that hurt.  I really like that website too.  However, I can find several other websites that say "Macs are too expensive" is a myth.

Regardless, even though I had fun arguing this, I have spent a lot more time doing it than I wanted to.

I will close with this.  The computer shop I worked at for 2 years was a small business.  The managers I worked for were amazingly smart...not like the idiots working at the Geek Squad.  Everyone there accepted that some things were easier to do with Windows, while other things were easier to do in MacOSX and/or Linux.

People who think Macintosh and/or Linux are worthless I believe are ignorant; aka: poorly qualified to debate that point.  That is all.

The "Macs don't cost too much myth busting" articles are funny.  "This doesn't cost 5 thousand more (120%), it only cost $2200 more (70%)...

It's stupid, Macs cost more than a reasonable PC, the style line of Vaio's cost more, the IBM lappy cost more.  Each has there reasons for charging a premium (stability/foolproof, "style", and durability, respectively)... The people buying those obviously feel it is worth the extra money.  I prefer to build my own, which now-a-days costs more than a reasonably priced PC.  I like picking exactly what's inside and outside.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
