Same old drivel as always, it seems.
With respect to the 2000$ i5 iMac:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.278226 - costs 730$, and gives you faster memory as well (but a slower HDD). Everything else is the same.
And then that leaves you with 1270$ for a video card, DVD drive, monitor, mouse and keyboard... I could put in a Blu-ray drive and a Radeon HD 5870 (which is between two and three times as fast as as the 4850 that the Mac in question comes with - and I've still got several hundred dollars left. Hell, I could also add another 8 GB memory and still have several hundred dollars in savings by getting a PC.
And if you look at their upgrade costs, it's even more hilarious.
Saying that Apple products aren't overpriced is hilariously wrong.
