Ok, when your friends ask you if you want to try something a bit "harder" you should decline it, trust me. It will happen.
One of the problems with weed being illegal is that it is used as a path to getting others onto harder drugs. If you cut out the weed as a soft drug then people wont meet dealers (other suppliers of drugs in your case) and wont be persuaded to try new drugs.
The usual trick is "you wanna try this for free?", just be careful, that's what I'm saying. Weed may not be harmful, but it can easily lead to drugs that are.
