I love (hate) how people pin the lack of good jobs on immigrants. Industrial outsourcing of labour to foreign countries loses dozens of times more jobs than immigration ever could, and it's not the bad jobs like cleaning toilets, it's the good jobs that people actually want that are being lost to industrial outsourcing.
An EU worker from Eastern Europe isn't taking your job, they're just taking a job that we don't want for the large part. The jobs we actually want are being outsourced to labour forces in China, India and other less economically developed countries where the labour force is cheap and abundant.
If we froze immigration today and kicked them all out and gave British jobs to British workers, the labour crisis would not get better, it would get worse. Because we would still continue to send our industry overseas because it is cheaper for us to do so.
It's not the immigrants taking your jobs, it's the people who want to cut labour costs by 90%.
