I don't think listing a serie instead of a game is a good idea. This list is a Top 100 NES Games not a Top 100 NES Series. We just have to list some of the best iterations ot the series.
As for the 2nd gen ports, that's good, this should free some spots in our Top 100. Btw did you sent some invitation to your thread?

Not that 1995 Christian game copied on Menace Beach? There is no way this game could make the Top 100.
