We have a very partial picture, right now, but precedents show that cuts worked better for Wii and PS3: XB360 needed Arcade cut to $199 to beat a $399 PS3 and it never managed to beat Wii, while cutting Elite to $299 gave decent results, but nothing comparable to PS3 and Wii cut. This said, it's almost sure, though, that XB360 will outsell PS3 in America very often, even almost always, and as most MS fanboys tend to mistake America for the whole world, this should keep them happy.
