I'll go with Gears as I never really understood big thing about Halo. I've played all 3 SP campaigns and none of them were anything above average for me. Multiplayer its a lot of fun but I don't play MP all that much. Gears of war on the other hand had a great SP campaign (not without its flaws but fun nonetheless) so I say Gears of War.
