I just read those two articles, both of them roast the shit out of PC gaming, say MS is letting it die, and admit that Windows 7 is a significant step up in 2 areas of PC gaming, it's also faster, and is not a step backwards in any way. Performance and Games explorer are the two areas.
Also, the reviews of Win7 linked in those stories are fantastic.
Those two articles are complaining about MS not pushing Win7 as a gaming platform.
They aren't complaining about actual performance at all.
You shouldn't post articles out of context like that. It's misleading. Did you just read the article buzzworthy titles and comment on them, or did you mislead us on purpose?
