Bah, I get far more flamed and assaulted for calling some guys out on bias and fanboyism than they ever will for just being fanboys. It's just the nature of the internet. Majority rules, and confronting or combating fanboyism is discouraged, at least in my experience.
For example. I've often entered threads filled with fanboyism and trolls. When I comment on the nature of the trolls, and their oh so obvious motivation, I'm the one who gets not only flamed, but degraded, and certainly not supported.
Even the non-fanboy PS3 fans will often chide me, instead of supporting me. "We're not all like that Zen, you shouldn't generalize us" instead of what they should say which is "You're right, tell em!"
When you do things like that, and when you accept fanboyism just because you agree with it, even if you didn't partake of its enjoyment, you are as bad as those fanboys you despise.
...but this isn't a pleasant truth, and I doubt anyone will accept it as the revelation it almost assuredly is, so just disregard it. This is my response to the OP. Disregard it.
That said, NOBODY deserves free time to celebrate fanboyism. Basically, fanboyism is judging games and people based on their console of choice, instead of their own inherant quality, and that is abundant on the internet, and lately, it's been getting worse on the Playstation side of the ball. It's bearable, imo, but it sure does suck that not as many people as you would expect, seem to mind it.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
