You say that, but why do they end up whining on forums so much? It doesn't make any sense. I finally managed to convince my Wii-only console owning friend to stop complaining about the Wii not getting any decent 3rd-party games and play HD games on his Mac (dual boot so he plays via Windows).

I'll spell it out for you.

HD games controlled with conventional game pads aren't what Wii gamers want. If they were, then Wii gamers would have bought an HD console that ships with a conventional game pad.

If people are whining, it is because the product they want isn't on the market. Otherwise they would go out and get it instead of sitting around complaining about how the product they want isn't on the market.
