Thats absolutely the only way to get to them.  Prove that it is not acceptable and don't buy it.  But I guess that was the feeling IW got for the first MW when more people pirated it on pc than bought it.  So they decided they needed to fix something.

I'm willing to bet piracy will be MUCH higher now. I plan to download it at least 10 times just for the fuck of it.

 

As for people saying PC gamers had it coming, I'm sory but we're not mindless consumers who pay for crap when it's stuffed down our throats. Maybe they can pass bullshit such as DLC and other crap on consoles, not so much on PC. Then developers wonder why they don't sell well on the PC.... they should tart taking notes from Valve and BLizzard where they cater to their consumers, not vice versa. In return they make millions and millions.

It's also very weird that this is not on the VGC news section. It's pretty significant news, instead we have 10 sexiest guys in video games.....
