PSP GO is terrible & SONY's worst move ever

but blame yourself for not researching the product carefully, not SONY

Its hillarious how the standard sony supporters don't see anything wrong with Sony ditching their memory stick.

Just think about it. You can always use a memory stick micro with a memory stick adapter so they can still sell their new memory cards. All they had to do is include a slot for their own proprietary format that was introduced 4 years ago.

The fact the thing costs 250 bucks and it doesn't support your own company's proprietary memory format is a huge cheapshot by sony.

Nevertheless, I knew I could return it hence I didn't do much research. No harm no foul...Im just more bitter at company practices thats all.

I can understand people being upset about Sony's decision to change memory formats or accessory compatibility for an in-generation hardware refresh, but you should have done some research before buying it.  Also, micro-sd is a non-proprietary format.  It's not like Sony dumped one proprietary format for another.

Its not micro SD. its memory stick micro which is proprietary to Sony... Its actually funny cause Wikipedia states.

Sony announced on June 1, 2009 that M2 support in Sony Ericsson phones would be dropped in favor of microSD

So why is PSP go stuck using this? I'd love it if it used micro SD like the rest of the world.

I see.  Retract everything I said, except about the research part.  But, I am glad you posted it because I thought it micro sd.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
