All they had to do is include a slot for their own proprietary format that was introduced 4 years ago. I can understand people being upset about Sony's decision to change memory formats or accessory compatibility for an in-generation hardware refresh, but you should have done some research before buying it. Also, micro-sd is a non-proprietary format. It's not like Sony dumped one proprietary format for another.
