I will say that there has been lack of quality software lately and not many developers have turly embraced unique control schem of the wii just yet. i would love to see a good FPS on the wii. there have been a couple but nothng to brag about.

and out talking about the next gen system, right now its just talk of course they are working on it already probably a few years in development by now but it wont be released ultil late 2011 at the earliest.

But there are too much talks about it already. thats the point... I think Ninty will announce a new console in E3 2011 at the earliest and we didnt seen any quality FPS and RTS or even TPS in the system so far. And to think its the Wii's strongest points. But then, its not that the core gamers that Nintendo is catering to right now anyway...

I think Nintendo release a new console not because of the old core gamers like us but because of the saturation of the casual gamers this gen. The more months had passed the more the casual gamers becoming core gamers.

No, and no, as I pointed out, Nintendo will wait until after Sony and MS to announce, why?  Because they are in the lead and are selling the most consoles and have no reason to launch first, secondly why shpuld Nintendo cater to every genre, why aren't third parties catering to those genres on the Wii?  Why is Nintendo to blame for third party failures?

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!!
