Well that's one way to look at it... Another would be:
"Hey!! This is their first time making a 3rd person shooter!! Perhaps they might be good at this!! Who knows? Let's wait in see how it turns out before we slam the Phail Sticker!"
OT: I've actually always disliked the "muscular rough alien/robo suit space marines" theme but this game actually has my interest.
