(I've only played RE4 and this, therefore can't speak to the previous entries)

+ Co-op is fun with a friend. Some co-op focused sections (one drives the boat, one shoots) are well thought out.
+ Professional mode is good fun. Definitely changes the game dynamic for the better.
+ Upgrading guns is rewarding and addicting like RE4
+ Smaller inventory means you can't just take everything. You and your partner will need to exchange items.
+ Chris Redfield punches a boulder repeatedly so Sheva can cross a stream of lava. I now want to see Chris Redfield's Boulder Punching for the Wii using WM+.

- TOO MANY QUICKTIME EVENTS
- I could have done without Gears of Evil for the last 2 chapters
- Some level design was bad. That factory with the conveyor belts and 2 person switches... ugh.
- Inexplicable exploding barrels throughout the game. Seems like lazy game design.
- Boss fights were mostly forgettable, a couple were annoying.

Even though it isn't as good as RE4, still worth a go with a friend. I recommend playing on Veteran for your first play through.
