I mean, people do strange things for amusement but I didn't know writing college essays was one of them.

Actually, one of the coolest college essay stories I've heard was about a guy who applied for one of the ivy league schools (can't remember which one). But he had to write a 500 word essay on what courage was.

What did he write?

"This is courage"

And he sent that in. He was accepted as the story goes...
