Yeah, people take things far too seriously and ignore reason, the whole 2012 thing has caused nothing but problems. I mean the website is fake, it's a marketing ploy used to promote the film. But as the article said, hundreds of people have been writing to NASA and some people have been saying they would commit suicide so they didn't have to see the world end. I don't mind the website being up, but it should at least make sure people know it is a hoax site intended for advertising purposes so that it does not exacerbate people who genuinely think 2012 is the end of the world. I dunno why some people think that 2012 is going to be the end like they have done.
I can't wait until December 13th 2012. But then it will be January 17th, 2015 because the ancient Chinese said so 3,000 years ago or something.
