Using their PS2s to watch DVD movies instead of just getting a cheap standalone DVD player, which resulted in lots of people wearing out the PS2 laser and having to pay sony to replace the drive. I stopped using my PS2 to play DVDs after I heard about these issues. I use it strictly for gaming because of that. |
Well to get a Blu-ray player to match tha capabilities of the PS3 you would need to shell out about $300-$350. And thats not cheap. Plus I have over 200 blu-ray movies and 67 blu-ray games, and my PS3 drive is working fine. So this is not an issue for the PS3
