So youre just surprised that VGC was so accurate? Thats pretty good then. I dont see how the PS3 effects the 360 sales at this point in the life cycle, all things considered, when the 360 is already in twice as many homes as the PS3 theres bound to be some people who own a 360 buying a PS3 coupled with people who wanted a PS3 that were waiting for the drop, its not a stagnant market where there can be only 100% sales for the 360 and PS3 and consumers must choose one or the other. The fact that 140k more people bought a PS3 than a 360 is far more significant to me than anything at this point. |
Evidently, you want to focus on some PS3 vs. 360 debate...no interested...Great numbers for the PS3 in the month. My comments were about the Wii, since I thought it was going to be worst off than it was. I'm not sure what's to debate about the great results posted by the PS3...it's up 100%...Y-o-Y, the Wii is down, but not as bad as I expected, whereas the 360 is up...so it would seem the Wii was the one who took the most damage from the PS3's cut, not the 360.
BTW, from an analytical standpoint, what does it mean if the 140K number drops to almost 30k for the month of October? What's the analytical significance, you're thinking about?
