Brilliant dungeon design, epic (if easy/formulaic boss fights), superb story, great character in Midna, wonderful horseback combat. Let down by muddy textures, weaker narrative towards the end of the game-and the fact the 3D Zelda formula was perfected at the first attempt, though I don't think that detracts much from the experience.
An effortless masterpiece-but proof that Zelda needs to evolve.
