I still say that at the time of decision to make this that rail shooters weren't saturated, so I can't blame them for the decision then.
But as it is there isn't much to excite gamers, and unlike Resident Evil, this isn't a name series to make it stand out. So acting as though this means the Wii gets less major support at all, based on one game, is not a good development strategy.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
