I'll be interested to see what a $50 drop on the cheapest sku on the market would be. I recall people posting in threads that the Arcade sells at a high proportion during the holiday period (parents making price based buying decisions without taking into consideration the will of the kids). Dropping a $150 Arcade in mid November could throw the cat among the pigeons a bit.
Without an Arcade price move I'd say a 5 - 5.5 million gap is doable.
With an Arcade price cut I'd say PS3 will be lucky to close the gap to 6 million by year end.
