| Reasonable said: Wow. To think Slimebeast was grumbling when people gave Halo 3 7 or 8 and saying it shouldn't be counted! Some strange views here TBH, and while I'd normally accept that's the way it goes, Kylie's 3, given it is known how much he hates LBP, Media Molecule, argued they unfairly moderated levels due to content, etc. basically hoped the game failed miserably at retail, etc. it seems like a deliberate lowball to me. Technically, there is no way this game is that low. It's like saying Citizen Kane is crap because you don't like serious films - you're confusing your own preferences with factual achievement. To me, to rate a game anything less than 7 it has to have actual technical flaws or issues, whether the genre appeals or not. I'd never mark down an jRPG, for example, because I don't like turn based combat, because that's taste, nothing technical about the title. 'Gotta say, too, it fascinates me that such a title, vs say Halo 3, or MGS4, should seem to attract the most irritation in some people. Who'd have figured? |
