It will definitely close by EOY but I doubt by as much as people think.
I expect all consoles to do well in the traditional holiday season but the PS3 is still in the luxury bracket whereas the Xbox 360 is attractively priced for the Arcade version.
The Forza 3 bundle should ensure MS stay competitive particularly as PS3 has no Full release Driving SIM of its own.
I expect the PS3 to at best close another mill to mill and a half by JAN 2010
So between 5.5 and 6 million gap. Then I expect all momentum to be lost in the post Xmas lulll and things to return to an as you were scenario.
