Microsoft simply checks. Is it a Microsoft official model? Yes/No? if No, do not work. There is one reason and one reason only, Microsoft 120gb hard drives are the 30$ more expensive than 500gb hard drives. |
Ok whatever i wont get into the specifics of cheating with hard drives lets just say that between xbox live and system updates its getting increasingly difficult to use modded files.
As for M$ trying to make a buck i agree with you but to call them a horrible and evil greedy company is not justified. And my other arrgument still stands. 360 Owners dont need to buy the 120 GB drive and most dont because a 20 GB or 60 GB drive is more than enough. Hell i know lots of people that are fine with the 256 MB memory cards that came with the arcade console. As long as you dont use Xbox live very much or want to download alot of map packs its plenty of memory. Game saves take like 2 MB max so you could easily have 150 Different game saves on a memory unit.
Long Live SHIO!
