Your denial is strong, so I've been forced to go through the trouble of hunting down Apple's sales numbers even though there's no convenient VGC for that market.

In their quarterly report in april of this year, Apple announced that 37 million iPhones and iPod touches had been shipped:

And at the end of September, Apple announced that it had sold 50 million iPhones and iPod touches. That's a difference of 13 million units, if you're keeping score:

So how were the sales of the DS in the same period?

VGChartz Hardware data for the period 26th Apr 2009 to 26th Sep 2009:

Console DS
Total
9,157,369

Somewhat slower, though these are sellthrough rather than shipped numbers. I expect you to go back to your lame excuse that the iPod touch and the iPhone are two different platforms while conveniently ignoring that the DSi has hardware capabilities that the DS Lite lacks.

Apple has sold 20 million iPod Touch units as of September 2009.[5]

Iphones sold: 21.17 million (as of Q2 2009)

That's a lot less than 50 million ringo, like around 8-9 million less, so yeah, I think you need to recheck your figures
