I believe the J man is correct. I only joined last december, but i've visited VGChartz since Halo 3 release, and there has been a constant downgrade in the quality of most threads.
I tend to get away from the most controversial threads and when I do enter them try to voice the most reasonable reply I can muster, but sadly, most people just do exactly the contrary.
I speak in personal experience, the most horrible threads i've seen over here are the Final Fantasy threads.
There seems to be a vocal group of FF fans in here that thinks that only it's only their opinion that counts and that only them are the true FF fans and almost insult everyone else, those kind of people really get on my nerves and disgust me. I have tried to stay away from most FF threads as of lately because of it, which saddens me, since i'm a FF fan since the NES days.
