Really can't say I remember seeing much of a marketing effort for this game, but then again, I don't regularly watch TV, and even if I did, I wouldn't watch channels that tend to advertise for Nintendo Wii games.
Sad thing was, about a year ago the game was actually on my short list of Wii games to buy in 2009. It pretty much slipped off my radar between then and release.
Like most Wii games, I really don't think Spyborgs was any more than an average budget game for the platform, but when the price drops that quickly, it usually means the title was overproduced and over shipped (like Bionic Commando).
But, Capcom continues to support the platform better than most developers for what it's worth.
